Cost – The pricing of these two treadmills is very similar, with the T 7.5 S priced at $1,099 and the F63 priced at $999. While there is only a $100 difference between these two treadmills, the F63 is just slightly more affordable.
Available Programs – A clear winner in this category is the T 7.5 S. It comes with 50 built-in workout programs, allowing you to choose from a wide variety of exercises. That way, you can hit your health and fitness goals more easily. In contrast, the F63 has only 8 workout programs built-in, with the option to create 2 custom workout programs.
Dimensions – Between these two treadmills, the overall dimensions relatively similar. With the F63, the measurements are 57” tall, 82” long, and 35” wide, while the T 7.5 S dimensions measure 59” tall, 78.5” long, and 35.5” wide. As you can see, as their measurements are nearly the same, this comparison is a tie.
Running Surface – On first glance, these two treadmills have the same running surface and area. They both have a treadmill belt area of 20” wide by 60” long, along with a 2-ply belt. However, the difference is that the T 7.5 S has a commercial tread belt, where the F63 only has a non-stretch belt.
On the T 7.5 S, you raise the deck slightly before engaging the release bar, and you likely have to stand directly under the deck to reach the release bar. But, on the F63, all you need to do is pull the yellow lever, which is located on the side, and the deck will release and lower. As the F63 folding and release system is a little easier than the T 7.5 S, it wins this round.
Incline Range – Incline is a great way to add intensity to any workout, from walking to HIIT exercises, and on the T 7.5 S, you can enjoy an incline range of 0%-12%. However, the F63 offers just a bit more, with an incline range of 0%-15%.
Speed– These treadmills have the same speed range, going from 0.5 MPH up to 12 MPH. You may not want to sprint on these treadmills, as they were not designed for that kind of workout, but they both have the ability to reach high speeds.
Fans– You can find fans on both of these treadmills, but the fans aren’t equal. The F63 fan is very weak, and you can hardly feel it if you are going faster than a walk. With the T 7.5 S, the fan can put out a strong breeze, depending on which speed you would like the fan to go.
Heart Rate Monitoring – These both have pulse grip handlebars, which aren’t very accurate at reading your heart rate. However, both of these treadmills are compatible with Bluetooth heart rate monitoring chest straps, but only the F63 comes with a chest strap, while the T 7.5 S does not.
Treadmill Weight– Between these two treadmills, the T 7.5 S is the lighter of the two, weighing 222 lbs. This lower weight makes the T 7.5 S a bit easier to deal with, from building it to moving it around.
Look and Feel Of The Treadmill
Materials – Overall, these treadmills are fairly similar when it comes to their materials. Both have steel frames, sturdy consoles, and are comparable in size. However, the F63 has fewer plastic components, which will likely hold up better than the T 7.5 S plastic covers over time.
Moving the treadmill – These treadmills move similarly, as they both need to be tilted onto their wheels to be moved around. Between the two, the T 7.5 S is a bit easier to move as it is not as heavy as the F63.
Cushioning – All SOLE treadmills come with Cushion Flex Whisper Deck cushioning technology. This cushioning is decent for those who don’t have any joint issues or those who are recovering from injuries. But the T 7.5 S comes with FlexSelect™ cushioning, allowing you to choose what level of cushioning you want when you workout.
Assembly– Both treadmills should have two people available to build them, especially when it comes to placing the console and adding the folding system below the deck. However, the T 7.5 S has more parts that need to be placed in a careful order, or you will need to disassemble much of your hard work, while the F63 is a more straightforward treadmill.
User Interface
Speed and Incline Controls – The speed and incline controls for the T 7.5 S are located along the sides of its console for easy access. You can also adjust the speed by 0.1 increments and the incline by 0.5 increments if you use the Up/Down arrows located next to the start and stop buttons.
On the F63, the speed and incline controls are located at the bottom of the console. However, not all of the speeds and inclines are readily available, unlike on the T 7.5 S. You can also speed by 0.1 increments and the incline by 0.5 increments if you use the Up/Down arrows located on either arm of the F63.
Since the controls on the F63 do not have all the speed and incline buttons available and the T 7.5 S does, this category goes to the T 7.5 S.
Program Selection – Choosing a workout program on these treadmills is relatively easy. With the F63, you can use the arrow keys to scroll through the few programs on the treadmill.
On the T 7.5 S, you can select the program library and have a clear visual of the available programs. These workouts are rated by users, detail how long they will take to complete, the intensity of the workout, and are categorized for easy access.
F63 program selection
Visual Display – Users of the F63 will have a display that is an LCD screen that measures 6.5” with a white back-lit display. While the F63 display is crisp, it doesn’t really compare to the T 7.5 S.
On the T 7.5 S, you can enjoy a 7” high-definition touchscreen. This display is responsive even if your hands are damp with sweat and it is water resistant, so you don’t need to worry about it becoming a little wet as you workout.
Entertainment Features
Speakers – Thanks to upgrades to the F63, both of these treadmills now come with Bluetooth speakers so that you can seamlessly sync your music or other audio entertainment with your treadmill as you workout. They also both come with audio jacks, so you can plug in if you need to instead.
There is a size difference between the speakers on the F63 and the T 7.5 S, with the T 7.5 S coming with bigger speakers that can put out better sound quality.
Data Tracking
Data Display – Both of these treadmills offer exercise data tracking. On the T 7.5 S, thanks to the touchscreen, you can track far more data than is offered by the F63. For what exactly is tracked on either machine, you can reference the chart below.

Fitness Apps – Both of these treadmills come with the ability to sync with a fitness program; however, the quality of these programs vary widely. The F63 can pair with the SOLE Fitness app, which is a free app. This app is fairly basic in utility, allowing you to:
- Sync with your treadmill
- Create custom programs on your phone
- Control your treadmill from the app
- Save workout data to your profile
Technically, the SOLE Fitness app can do all these things. However, the app doesn’t work very well, resulting in constant freezes and crashes, lost data, and sometimes refusing to work.
In contrast, the T 7.5 S comes with a free 30 day membership to iFit. With access to iFit, you have the ability to choose from over 16,000 workout programs, with many personal trainer-led workouts. Some of the basic offerings of iFit are:
- World-class personal trainers to lead you through runs, cross-training, and more.
- Google Maps workouts around the world
- Workout tracking, with data saved to your profile
- A community of other fitness enthusiasts you can workout with and challenge.
SOLE & NordicTrack Financing Options
NordicTrack Financing
- No money down purchases
- No interest if paid in full in 18 months.
- Standard APR of 29.99% after 18 months. Interest will be charged starting from the purchase date. After 18 months, interested is backdated to the purchase date and also charged from the current date on the remaining balance (+backdated interest).
- So this is a great option if you’re able to pay the treadmill off within the promo period (18 months). But you’ll get hit with outrageous interest fees if you do not pay the treadmill off within 18 months.
- You are required to make minimum payments each month. BUT the minimum amount is not calculated to pay off the treadmill in 18 months. You’ll need to make a higher payment than the minimum to avoid interest fees. This calculation will vary depending on the original purchase price.
- Subject to credit approval.
SOLE Financing
- Affirm – secondary financing.
- Make monthly payments using Affirm (3, 6, or 12 months plans available)
- Rates vary from 10 to 30% APR.
- For a $1399.99 purchase, you can expect to pay about $123.08 per month for 12 months at 10% APR.
- This seems like a good way to go if you’re financing the purchase. The monthly fees and interest applied to the purchase are all very upfront. However, assume there are major penalties for late payments like with most credit card purchases.
- Subject to credit approval.
NordicTrack and SOLE Warranties
NordicTrack Warranty
- A 30-day trial period. Full refund minus a 10% restocking fee and shipping fees unless the machine is damaged or defective on arrival.

By comparing both of these treadmills directly to each other, you can see that feature-for-feature, the NordicTrack T 7.5 S outperforms the SOLE F63. However, some of the features the T 7.5 S has may not be that important to you. So, if in the end, the F63 has just the right amount of features for you, then go with the right treadmill for your health and fitness needs.
